Fazail Of Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima As.

Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima As is a form of dhikr (remembrance of Allah) that involves reciting specific phrases in praise of Allah and His beloved daughter, Hazrat Fatimah As. This practice is highly regarded in Islamic tradition and is believed to bring numerous spiritual benefits to those who engage in it regularly. In this post, we will explore the basics of Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatimah As and how it can enhance your spiritual journey.

In the Islamic Sharia, the TTasbeeh Hazrat Fatima  (S.A) is counted among the acts of devotion that are strongly encouraged to be performed. According to the infallible Imams (A.S.) and the Shiite jurists, it is of the utmost importance. It is a straightforward act of worship that may be performed in a short amount of time, yet it packs a significant punch in terms of its effect, reward, and value.

This may be deduced from the fact that when the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) wanted to teach His daughter Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A) how to do this act of worship, He called out to Fatima, saying, “O Fatima! I have bestowed upon you something that is more valuable than a maidservant as well as the entire globe and everything in it.’ (Aasaar o Asraare Tasbeehe Zahra (s.a.), Pg. 7)

‘Allah is not adored by anything more worthy than the Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima (S.A),’ says Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S.), providing information relevant to this context. If there had existed a higher form of devotion, there is no doubt in my mind that the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) would have made it available to Hazrat Fatima (S.A.).” (Wasaaelush Shia, Vol 4 Pg. 1024)

“Reciting Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima (S.A) every day after every Salat is preferred by me more than reciting one thousand rakats of (mustahab) Prayer,” states Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S) in reference to the importance of this Tasbeeh in the eyes of the Imams of the Ahlulbayt (A.S). (Al-Kafi, Kitabus Salaat)

The recitation of Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima brings about forgiveness for one’s misdeeds. One who recites the Tasbeeh of Hazrat Zahra (SA) and then requests forgiveness would be pardoned, according to a tradition attributed to Imam Mohammad Baqir (A.S). (Wasaaelush Shia Vol 4, Pg. 1023)

It also results in driving Satan away and making Allah satisfied, as the tradition that comes from Imam Mohammad Baqir (A.S) says: “(Reciting Tasbeeh)

When recited on a regular basis, the Tasbeeh prayer protects the reciter from difficulties in both this world and the next. The reciter of the Tasbeeh of Hazrat Zahra (S.A) is delivered from adversities and afflictions in both this world and the hereafter if they regularly recite it. This is one of the gracious results of the recitation of the Tasbeeh of Hazrat Zahra (S.A).

Therefore, one should not disregard its advantages and repercussions, nor should one be negligent or uninterested in its recital. In this context, Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) gives the following advice to one of his companions:

“You do cling to it and be regular about its recitation, for undoubtedly one who is steadfast upon its recitation will not experience adversity.” (Al-Kafi, Kitabus Salaat, Pg. 343) The Tasbeeh of Hazrat Zahra (A.S.) and How to Recite It One should chant Allah Akbar 34 times, Alhamdolillah 33 times, and Subhaanallah 33 times, as instructed by a tradition that originated with Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S). (Behaarul Anwaar Vol 85, Pg. 334)

Reciting the Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima (S.A) before going to bed Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S) is reported to have said: “One who recites the Tasbeeh Hazrat Fatima (S.A) at the time of retiring to bed, he would be considered amongst those who have remembered Allah a lot.” (Wasaaelush Shia Vol 4, Pg. 1026) Tasbeeh of Hazrat Zahra (S.A.), followed by Maoozatain (Surah Falaq and Surah Naas), and Ayatul Kursi should be recited before retiring to bed, according to a tradition that was passed down from Imam Mohammad Baqir (A.S.) and recorded in the book “Wasaaelush Shia.” This tradition can be found in the middle of the book.
